Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musically inclined family. The majority of her childhood was spent listening to classical music, old boleros, and the traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana enjoys tangos operas and other dramatic shows. Following her singing lessons with mom, she started more serious singing lessons at the age of 16 under the guidance of the renowned Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. She furthered her training in music through the School of Music of Guadalajara University, and then the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. In Guadalajara and Mexico City, she was part of a variety of opera ensembles as well as chamber groups. After 2000, she emigrated into America. United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then, in 2007, she settled in her current home in Southern California. She is currently a member of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and frequently performs solo in the traditional Latin American music at private performances. As a musician and teacher Ana is a dedicated participant in various community-based projects because of her love and love for music. Ana is also a former member of Community Chorus of Redlands as in addition to The Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana enjoys singing traditional Latin American songs and hopes that she can inspire others to do the same.
